Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note 4 is the budget blockbuster and is selling like hot cakes. In our previous article, we compared it with the Coolpad Cool 1. Now it’s time for its distant cousin, the LeEco Le 2 to see if it can match up to the Redmi Note 4.
Both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and LeEco Le 2 have 5.5-inch full HD display and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other specifications of both the phones are also quite similar. So, which one among them will be the winner? Let’s find out in this comparison which, without a doubt, is going to be tough.
Unlike previous Redmi series phones, the new Redmi Note 4 has a sleek design with distributed weight that makes it easy to hold in hands. It also has less length in comparison. It has two set of speaker holes on the either sides of micro-USB charging port. Unfortunately, the two set of holes are just for design symmetry, and only one on the right act as a speaker. The Redmi Note 4 has capacitive keys for navigation – recent apps key, home button, and one to return to the previous screen.
Coming to the rear of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the camera and fingerprint sensor are placed together. The phone has metallic body which gives it a premium feel. It fits in hands as well as the pocket. Talking about the sides, the left side is blank, while the volume rockers and power key are placed on the right edge.
The LeEco Le 2 on the other hand, also has metallic body and sports a premium construction. With a boxed-type design, the LeEco Le 2 is easy to handle and fits well in hands and is pocketable too. LeEco has managed to make the phone smaller and this is the reason that even people with small palms can easily reach any corners of the screen.
Much like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the LeEco Le 2 also has three capacitive keys. Coming to the back panel of the phone, it has the primary camera followed by a fingerprint reader.
Both the phones have attractive designs with a solid metal-clad construction. Talking about which one is winner, here is a tie.
