After countless leaks and reports, finally, Xiaomi officially confirmed the existence of its Pocophone series. Xiaomi’s India Lead Product Manager – Jai Mani has given this information via the official Twitter account. As of now, the company hasn’t revealed anything related to the upcoming products under Pocophone series but it is expected that the much rumoured Pocophone F1 could be the very first device. We have already published news about Pocophone F1 earlier.
Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Specifications and Features
To recall the leaked specifications, the Pocophone F1 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 2246×1080 pixels of resolution, botch and 19:9 aspect ratio. It features a dual rear camera setup – 12MP+5MP. The company has also placed a 20 megapixels camera at the front for selfies and video calling.
Leaked have claimed that the Pocophone F1 is the cheapest Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone which means it is going to be cheaper than the Asus Zenfone 5Z which costs ₹29,999. The Pocophone F1 is said to come in two variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM.
The Pocophone F1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth v5.0 and 4G with VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, the handset is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology.
