Xiaomi’s Mi A1 has been the most successful smartphone after Redmi Note 4. With a remarkable camera performance, the handset also became best mid-range camera phone. Now, Xiaomi is prepping for its successor called Mi A2. The handset has been spotted at TENAA – the Chinese equivalent of FCC.
The handset bears iPhone X look-a-like design which has become common as many smartphone makers like Oppo and Vivo have already launched phones with this design. The successor of Mi A1 was previously rumored as Mi 6X. For unawares, the Mi A1 was launched as Mi 5X in China.
Another interesting thing is that Xiaomi might be expanding colors for this handset. In the listing, we have seen red color model. Previously, the Mi A1 wasn’t available in red color.
Built around a 5.99 inch display, the Mi A1 has a 2,910 mAh of battery. All of it is packed inside a 158.88×75.54.76mm dimension body. Rest of the specifications remain unrevealed but one thing I am sure about it will have better internals comparing to its predecessor.
Further, as told you earlier, the handset has vertical placement of dual cameras on the rear. The flashlight sits between cameras. Fingerprint sensor remains at the same place where it sits on Mi A1.
Furthermore, as this listing appeared at TENAA, we can assume that the Mi A2 has been certified and might be launching soon. Xiaomi, on the other hand, hasn’t revealed anything regarding this handset yet. So stay connected, we will update you as soon as we get our hands on any other information of this smartphone.
