Xiaomi Mi 6X was launched in China couple of days back. And as the predecessor of this handset – the Mi 5X was launched in India as Xiaomi Mi A1, we expect that the company will launch Xiaomi Mi A2 in India soon. Actually, we have got our hands on some information revealing that the company might be launching a toned-down variant of this handset as well. Called Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, the handset will be an India-centric device.
If you are looking for the information of Xiaomi Mi 6X aka Xiaomi Mi A2, check our previous post. Continuing to Mi A2 Lite, the smartphone is a bit different than the Mi A2. The newcomer comes with notched design at the front while the rear panel resembles from Mi A2.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Specifications and Features
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is built around a 5.84 inches full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 2280×1080 pixels of resolution and 2.5D curved glass. Powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core processor (no words on SoC), the smartphone comes in three variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM, 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. All of the handsets have an expansion capability of up to 256GB via MicroSD.
Talking about camera specs, the Mi A2 Lite features a combo of two 12 megapixels cameras on the rear with LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixels front facing camera for selfies and video calls. Talking about connectivity options, the handset has GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and 4G VoLTE.
Measuring 149.33×71.68×8.75mm in dimensions, the Mi A2 Lite weighs 178 grams. Further, running on Android 8.1 Oreo, the handset is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology.
