Xiaomi is known for refreshing the lineup of its offerings frequently and it is no surprise that the company has already started working on the successor of Redmi 5. Called Xiaomi Redmi 6, the smartphone has been spotted at TENAA. Bearing the model number M1804C3DE, the handset is expected to be launched very soon.
This year, we have seen several Redmi series smartphones including Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. It seems that the company doesn’t want to leave any price segment untouched. Well, it’s a good strategy if a company wants its customers from every segment. In India, the mid-range segment is booming and I think that the newcomer will be also be priced around ₹10,000.
The Redmi 6 is built around a 5.45 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The listing also confirms that this device will support most of the global network bands. The newcomer is smaller than its predecessor, measuring just 147.46×71.49×8.3 mm in dimensions. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
Further, we don’t have more information about the Redmi 6. So stay connected, we will update you once we get our hands on more information.
