Expanding the range of its offerings, Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone in Vietnam. Called Vivo Y81, the smartphone is priced at VND 4,990,000 (approx. ₹14,800) and is expected to hit other Asian countries including India pretty soon.
Vivo Y81 Specifications and Features
Bearing a metallic body, the Vivo Y81 is built around a big 6.22 inches IPS LCD HD+ display with 1440×720 pixels of resolution, 2.5D curved glass, 19:9 aspect ratio and the most common notch. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 4.0 UI. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood of Vivo Y81 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded using MicroSD card up to 128GB.
Talking about camera department, the Vivo Y81 features a 13 megapixels shooter on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 megapixels shooter (with f/2.2 aperture) at the front for selfies and video calling. Further, the handset is backed by a 3,260 mAh battery.
