If we have to choose one thing from the last 10 years which has drastically changed the way we live, a smartphone would probably be the top pick for many people. Virtually nothing has impacted our lifestyle with the same intensity as a smartphone.

On that note, as the year 2017 is coming to an end, Gadget2Buy has selected its own top 5 smartphones under Rs 10,000. So here we go.

1. Redmi Note 4

Redmi Note 4

It is worth considering that the Redmi Note 4 comes with the Snapdragon 625 processor and 3 GB of RAM. This is accompanied by a Full HD 5.5-inch display, a 13 MP main camera with Phase Detection Autofocus and a humongous 4,100mAh battery. All this in the most affordable price bracket. What’s not to like?

The Moto C Plus shares its price closely with the Redmi 4 above, however, it comes with a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor which is a poor choice in our opinion. Also, it comes with 2 GB of RAM and only 16 GB of on-board storage (expandable only up to 32 GB). But its plus points are regular updates from Google and a huge 4,000mAh battery.

4. Redmi 4A

Redmi 4A

The reason there are 3 Redmi handsets in this list is because they seem to offer very good value for money which is hard to compete with in this price segment. The Redmi 4A comes with a Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage (up to 128 GB). Then there is the 5-inch HD display for decent multimedia experience. All this at a price which doesn’t go beyond Rs 6,000.

Redmi 4A specifications:

– Price Rs 5,999

– Snapdragon 425, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage (expandable up to 128 GB)

– 5-inch display

– 13 MP main camera, 5 MP front camera

– 3,120mAh battery

5. Nokia 3

Nokia 3

The Nokia 3 might look different, but it is quite similar to the Moto C Plus. It shares the same MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor along with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of on-board storage. The 5-inch HD display is same as well. The difference is that the storage is expandable up to 128 GB and the 8 MP front camera. But the Nokia 3 comes at a price nearing Rs 10,000 which we believe is more than it deserves. This is why it is last in this list.
