As per a latest report from Korea, Samsung could be unveiling its next flagship, Note 8, on August 26. The date matches with the usual predictions of an August launch, however, it seems that now we know the exact date as well. We would like to tell you that this doesn’t come from the company itself and so we won’t be surprised if this changes in future. But yes, it seems we would have a confirmation from the South Korean company soon.
An August launch is possibly the best time for Samsung to launch its next flagship given that Apple is likely to unveil its next iPhone in September. It could be a good chance for the company to steal a bit of a thunder from its biggest smartphone rival.
The third quarter is going to see a lot of action, naturally, as companies and consumers alike expect to see remarkable new technologies in the mobile phone industry. Seemingly, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature an updated S Pen and its functionalities along with Samsung’s new virtual assistant Bixby which debuted in Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Samsung has a lot at stake on its next Note as the company is still recovering from the nightmares of the Note 7. The new Note will likely feature dual camera at the back which would be a first on a Samsung device and a similar screen dominant display like the S8 duo. The screen will be larger at 6.3 inches. It will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor with at least 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM.
