Samsung is Launching A New Low-End Smartphone?

Samsung is known for launching multiple variants or refreshed versions of its smartphones and it seems that now is the time to see yet another example of it. Actually, we have spotted a new Samsung device on GFXBench bearing the model number SM-J337 which is expected to be a successor of Galaxy J3 (2017) (SM-J330F) launched in June this year.

What’s interesting about the SM-J337 aka Galaxy J3 (2018) is it comes with downgraded specs as compared to the predecessor, hinting that the handset is going to be cheaper and will compete with low-end offerings from Xiaomi and Lenovo.

As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) features a 5 inches HD display with 1280x720px resolution and 5-fingers gesture support. It is powered by a quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz of clocked processing speed. The hardware is further complemented by a Mali-G71 graphics processing unit, 2 gigs of RAM and 16 gigs of onboard storage.

Running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the smartphone features an 8 megapixels rear camera with autofocus functionality and LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixels selfie shooter. Connectivity options on the handset include WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. It has three sensors – proximity, gyroscope and accelerometer as well.

Further, as none of the aforementioned information is officially confirmed yet, we would suggest you to take it with a pinch of salt. We will update as soon as we get any official info from Samsung, so stay tuned.
