Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ officially launched at MWC 2018
They are finally here! Samsung has finally launched its much-anticipated Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones. The two smartphones were unveiled at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) conference in Barcelona, Spain.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are iterative upgrades over their respective predecessors. As such, their design is nearly identical to that of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, except for a few subtle changes. Perhaps the most important of them is the fingerprint sensor, which is now located below the rear camera(s), instead of being adjacent to the camera(s), as is the case with the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

The camera systems on both smartphones are helped by dual-pixel PDAF, OIS and LED flash. There’s also support for 4K video recording utilizing the newest HEVC standard, alongwith simultaneous still image capture, slo-mo video recording and more.
For selfies, the two smartphones have an 8MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and dual-video calling functionality.
