The time of the year has come when OnePlus will announce its slightly upgraded OnePlus ‘T’ model of its flagship OnePlus device and this time we are getting the OnePlus 6T smartphone. Looking at the past, the company has followed the tradition of launching new succeeding models with a ‘T’ as a suffix after the name of their original versions. These ‘T’ variants have little upgrades and no change in design. However, the OnePlus 6T might have several design changes.
The leaks and rumors suggest that the device will have several specs and design upgrade. According to rumors, OnePlus 6T will also have a water-drop notched display design which is introduced by the Vivo first. The rumor that the OnePlus 6T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor is now confirmed by the company itself in a mail to CNET. The company said that that the OnePlus 6T will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor which will make it easier for people to unlock their phones and also reduce the steps to unlock a device. The company calls this feature “Screen Unlock”. A recent image leak also suggested a water drop notch, thin bezel, and a triple camera set up at the back.
The OnePlus 6T is expected to launch in early October with at a price of $550 (Rs. 39,500). We can’t say anything about the credibility of the rumors so let’s wait till the company launches OnePlus 6T itself.
