Last month, the Nokia X was showcased at an event in China, held by Nokia itself. At that moment, the company didn’t say anything regarding official launch date or full specifications. But today, the Nokia X aka Nokia X6 has been spotted at TENAA where it has been certified by the telecom authority. The smartphone is set to be launched on May 16.
Nokia X Full Specifications and Features
The Nokia X features a 5.8 inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The display has iPhone X-like notch. The smartphone will be launched in three variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM. Internal storage is said to be expandable though no words on the expansion capacity.
The Nokia X has dual rear camera setup. Two 16 megapixels sensors have been placed on the rear. What’s surprising is these lenses aren’t made by Carl Zeiss. A 16 megapixels sensor is also placed at the front for selfies and video calling.
Running on Android 8.1.0 Oreo, the Nokia X is powered by an octa-core processor and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging technology. Further, the handset is said to be launched in four colors: Silver, Blue, Black and White.
Nokia X Launch Date in India
The Nokia X is set to be launched on 16th of May in China with no official words on India launch however, if some leaks are to be believed, the handset will be launched in India by the end of this month.
