Nokia is busy with its return to the smartphone market since its strategic partnership with HMD Global. The Finnish company is looking to bring its flagship, Nokia 9, into the market sooner than later. The phone has acquired FCC Certification which means that Nokia is planning to launch its most powerful smartphone yet in the US market, something which it hasn’t done with Nokia 3, 5 and 6.
While the FCC is not meant to reveal typical specifications, it does show that the phone is likely to have Bluetooth 4.2 and confirms NFC details. Also, Nokia 9 is listed as the model TA-1004 and compatible with both the GSM and CDMA.
What Is FCC Certification?
FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Certification is a mark or a label or a Declaration of Conformity given to any electronic product which is A) manufactured in USA or B) sold in USA and that it adheres to the FCC guidelines regarding the electromagnetic interferences. This also includes products that are manufactured in USA but not sold there and only exported to other places.
What DO We Know About Nokia 9 So Far?
Nokia 9 has already appeared on Geekbench once with 4 GB RAM and then with 8 GB RAM, however, in both instances, it was powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. Also, it could come with a 5.3-inch display with 2K resolution. Its US price is speculated to be $700 which means that it would be at least INR 45,000 when it comes to our shores.
