It seems that HMD Global is preparing to launch the successor of Nokia 7 Plus. Simply called Nokia 7.1 Plus, the handset has been spotted at TENAA – the Chinese equivalent of US FCC where its key specifications were listed along with some images.

Listed with the model number Nokia TA-1131, the Nokia 7.1 Plus features a 6.18 inches full HD+ display with 1080×2246 pixels of resolution. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC which packs an octa-core processor running at 2.0GHz of clocked processing speed.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus will come in two variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. The internal storage of both variants can be expanded up to 400GB using MicroSD. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is expected to fall under Google’s Android One program.
Talking about the imaging department, the Nokia 7.1 Plus features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 12MP and 13MP sensors. The company has also placed a 20 megapixels camera at the front for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus comes with USB Type-C, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and dual SIM with dual 4G VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, the handset measures 154.8×75.76×7.97mm in dimensions and weighs 185 grams.
