Xiaomi has become popular in a very short period of time. It is wrapping off new smartphones almost every 2 months and the Mi Mix 2 seems to be next as we have spotted the device at a Chinese e-commerce website. Listed with full specifications at GearBest, the handset looks pretty cool with no screen bezels.
What’s interesting about the handset is it will run on MIUI 9 (based on Android 7.1) which is one of the most anticipated custom operating systems. Featuring 6.4 inch QHD IPS display with 2560×1440 pixels of resolution, the Mi Mix 2 will be launched in two variants. One will have a combo of 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, while another one will be coming with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
Unfortunately, the Mi Mix 2 won’t have any option to expand the storage but wait, who cares when the internal storage is 256GB. Powering the Mi Mix 2 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 825 chipset which has octa-core processor running at 2.45GHz of clocked processing speed.
The Mi Mix 2 boasts a whopping 19 megapixels primary camera with LED flashlight, whereas the selfie camera is a 13 megapixels snapper. Featuring Type-C USB port, the handset comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the rear below camera.
Further, connectivity options on the Mi Mix 2 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, Micro-USB and 4G. It also has three sensors – Proximity, Gravity and Ambient Light.
