It is usually a busy time for mobile phone manufacturers as they intend to introduce new models in the second half of the year. Motorola is prepping for the unveil and the eventual launch of its mid-range Moto E devices called Moto E4 and E4 Plus.
It has become a trend to launch a phone in two sizes as it increases market reach. Both phones are said to be powered by a MediaTek X20 processor. The company has launched a teaser poster for a June 21 conference in Brazil where it will reveal the said phones. Internationally, the launch is speculated to be in the first week of July.
MediaTek Processor for Both and Larger Battery for E4 Plus
Both the Moto E4 and E4 Plus will be powered by the MediaTek M6737M processor and run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the-box. Also, both phones will feature a 720p resolution display, however, the Moto E4 will have a 5-inch screen while the E4 Plus will have a 5.5-inch screen.
Other major specifications include a 2 GB and a 3GB RAM for Moto E4 and E4 Plus respectively and the internal storage is supposed to be same for both at 16 GB. The smaller of the two phones will have an 8MP camera at the back while the bigger one will get a much better 13MP rear camera.
Also, one of the most interesting aspects about the E4 Plus is also its massive 5,000mAh battery compared to the smaller 2,850mAh battery in the E4. We are expecting a major difference between the battery lives of the two siblings.
Moto E4 series will support 4G/LTE network, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The prices are speculated to be around 150 euros and 190 euros (roughly INR 10.8K and 13.7k) for the smaller and bigger model.
The mid to high-end smartphone market is becoming one of the most sought after segments for mobile phone manufacturers because they tend to provide the possible combination of great specifications, performance and price.
