Expanding the range of its offerings, Motorola has launched a new smartphone – the Moto 1S. Said to be available in two colors – Charlotte Powder and Victoria Blue, the handset has been launched in China with a price tag of CNY 1,499 (approx. 15,900). Unfortunately, we are yet to hear any official words from Motorola regarding launch of this handset in India.
The Moto 1S looks exactly like Moto X4 if we ignore few changes. The handset features a 5.7 inch full HD+ 18:9 display with 1080×2160 pixels of resolution. Running on Android Oreo-based ZUI 3.5, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor running at 1.8GHz of clocked processing speed.
The Moto 1S packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card. The handset features a combo of 12 megapixels (with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture) and 5 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) shooters on the rear. It also has a 16 megapixels front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Its cameras come with several features including time-lapse video mode, spot color mode, black & white mode, background replacement and background blur.
The Moto 1S weighs 168 gram and is 8.3mm thin. The handset is water resistance and comes with several connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G LTE. Further, backed by a 3000 mAh battery, the handset has five sensors – proximity, gyroscope, digital compass, ambient light and accelerometer.
