Mophie Introduces Charge Force Covers for iPhone 7/7 Plus, Allows Wireless Charging

0 654

Mophie has introduced its latest lineup of covers, called Charge Force, that allow wireless charging for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices.

Made of leather, these covers are thin enough so as to maintain the slim feel of the latest iPhones and provide basic protection from scratches to the phone’s body. These covers are compatible with most wireless charging units, including the ones from Qi, allowing the iPhone 7/7 Plus to be charged wirelessly. This is quite handy since the most modern iPhones can only be charged in the traditional way – using the wired charger. However, we are hearing that Apple will finally introduce this technology in its next iPhone.

These covers are designed to keep the Lightning port easy to access, so the phone can be charged with the phone’s wired charger as well. The company has also come out with a wireless charging base that can be put on a car’s dashboard to hold and charge the device.

Also, Mophie has made these covers for the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ smartphones as well. And while you might think that it is quite a waste for these devices since they already have wireless charging functionality inbuilt, consider this, that Mophie has also launched an external battery, Powerstation Mini, with a 3,000mAh capacity. It can be attached to the back of the Charge Force covers as they have inbuilt magnets making it possible to power and charge the phone at the same time. This can be very handy indeed.

On its own, the Powerstation Mini can provide up to 36 hours of battery life, this means that when attached to the phone via the cover, one can have an iPhone 7 or a Galaxy S8 running for much longer. Mophie will provide Charge Force covers in four colors – black, brown, blue and red.
