Amidst huge announcements and events at large scale, companies often launch a number of smartphones quietly to lengthen their list of devices on offer in various markets. Usually, these are budget-oriented phones that are swiftly added by the companies in their portfolio.
On that note, LG has quietly launched the LG X5 (2018) smartphone in a budget price bracket. The phone is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 chipset which is clocked at 1.5 GHz. Along with this, there’s 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage.
The screen is a generous 5.5 inches unit and delivers HD resolution (720p) which should be pretty light on the battery. Coming to the battery itself, it is a humongous 4,500 mAh unit promising excellent runtime.
There is a single-lens camera at the back with a 13 MP lens along with a 5 MP camera at the front. It is a fairly simple setup. The phone runs Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. Lastly, the X5 (2018) also supports LG Pay.
Currently, the LG X5 (2018) is available only in South Korea at a price of KRW 3,63,000 (roughly translates to $ 330). We do not know yet if or when the phone will be available in other markets including India.
