Lenovo is basically known for making budget-oriented handsets but it seems that the company wants to surprise people. Alongside the long awaited Lenovo Z5, the company also launched a refreshed version of Lenovo K5 Note which was originally launched in 2016. The new version is simply called Lenovo K5 Note (2018).
Lenovo K5 Note (2018) Price and Availability
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) has been launched in China with a price tag of CNY 799 (approx. ₹8,400) for 3GB RAM variant and CNY 999 (approx. ₹10,500) for 4GB RAM variant. It will be available in three color options – Blue, Gold and Black. As of now, we have no official confirmation regarding launch of this handset in India but as it is a low-end phone, we expect it to hit Indian shelves pretty soon.
New Lenovo K5 Note (2018) Specifications and Features
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) is a successor to the original Lenovo K5 Note and it comes with better hardware and software. For instance, the 2018 version is built around a 6 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixels of HD+ resolution.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. Both variants’ internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor and is backed by a 3,760 mAh battery.
The Lenovo K5 Note (2018) runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based new ZUI 4.0. It features a combo of 16 megapixels (with f/2.0 aperture and AI capability) and 2 megapixels (fixed focus sensor with f/2.4 aperture) on the rear. An 8 megapixels sensor is also placed at the front for selfies and video calling. The front facing shooter has f/2.0 aperture and beautification features.
