Xiaomi, it seems, is not keen on slowing down after the release of their most powerful smartphone yet, the Mi 6, and is preparing for the more powerful Mi Note 3. The Snapdragon 835 powered device delivers excellent performance and boasts fantastic design with stainless steel glass finish. However, its 5.15-inch screen may fall a bit short of expectation for people who really want a big screen.
The Chinese phone maker is readying the successor of the Mi Note 2 which brings our focus to the rumored Mi Note 3 leaked in a rendered image suggesting a larger screen (than the Mi 6) and dual camera similar to the one existing on the Mi 6. The leaked image shows the overall design to be similar to the Mi Note 2 and the phone is also expected to retain the 5.7-inch AMOLED screen. However, it is likely to have even thinner or no bezels due to the curved edge screen design.
The biggest upgrades are likely to come in the form of the Snapdragon 835 processor and the 6 GB of RAM with 64/128 GB of internal storage. Also, the dual camera from the Mi 6 is bound to make its way to the Mi Note 3 with its wide angle and telephoto feature. Lastly, the phone will be powered by a considerably bigger 4,000mAh battery for prolonged life.
Xiaomi is yet making an official announcement, but we would like to believe the rumor to be true. We are excited about it, are you?
