Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is doing very well in emerging markets, especially in India. And some of its handsets including Honor 7X, Honor 9 Lite and Honor 6X have been a hit in the market. Now, the company has been found working on Honor 7X’s successor. Called Honor 8X, the smartphone has been spotted at TENAA – the Chinese equivalent of US FCC.
Honor 8X Specifications and Features
Talking about the display first, the Honor 8X features Essential Phone-like v-shaped tiny notch. Other sides of the screen carry tiny bezels. As of now, we don’t have official information regarding its specifications but we do know the leaked one. According to the leaks, the handset is built around a 7.12-inch display with 2244×1080 pixels of full HD+ resolution and an unusual 18.7:9 aspect ratio.
The Honor 8X is expected to be powered by a 1.8GHz processor however, it is not confirmed whether it will come with HiSilicon Kirin 710, Snapdragon 636 or Snapdragon 660. It has been leaked that the handset will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. We also expect some other configuration for this handset.
Coming to the imaging department, the Honor 8X features dual camera setup on the rear which includes 16MP and 2MP sensors. For selfies and video calling, the company has placed an 8 megapixels camera at the front. Further, it is also expected that the handset will come with an 18W bundled fast charger.
