It seems that Honor is all set to introduce another budget smartphone – the Honor 8C. The handset will come with a notched display and metallic body. It was previously spotted on TENAA and looks somewhat similar to the Honor 7X. Anyway, according to the new leaks, the handset will be launched on the 11th of October.
Honor 8C Specifications and Features
The Honor 8C, according to TENAA, is built around a 6.2 inches HD+ display with 150×720 pixels of resolution and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood of the handset lies Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC which has an octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz of clocked processing speed.
Other internals of the Honor 8C include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM which can be expanded using MicroSD (dedicated slot). Talking about the imaging department, the handset features a dual rear camera setup: 13MP+2MP. It also features an 8 megapixels camera at the front for selfies and video calling.
Coming to the connectivity options, the Honor 8C has 4G with VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro-USB, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8 UI and is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. Further, leaks have also confirmed that the company might launch it in two variants.
