NOKIA 1 PRICE, SPECS AND FEATURES

Nokia 1 Go Edition

Nokia 1 is one of the latest smartphones from HMD Global, and it is also the company’s cheapest so far. Meant specifically for the developing markets, the standout feature of the Nokia 1 is the ‘Go Edition’ of Android Oreo operating system.

The Android Oreo Go Edition is the lighter version of the Android Oreo OS which is designed to work efficiently with low-powered processors. Each inbuilt Google app is also the Go Edition version of its standard app, like – YouTube Go, Gmail Go, Google’s in-house keyboard Gboard Go and Google Assistant Go. All these apps work almost as their standard variants with little less features, but they utilize less RAM and hence, offer good performance even in lower-range devices.

Nokia 1 is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT6737M quad-core CPU. The display is an uninspiring 450p x 854p resolution on a 4.5-inch screen. Internal storage is 8 GB expandable up to 128 GB. The main camera is a 5 MP one while the front unit is a meager 2 MP. Lastly, the runtime is provided by a 2,150mAh battery.

Nokia 1 is priced at USD $ 85.

It was about time that HMD Global also adopts the full-screen design pattern for its smartphones. Nokia 7 Plus is the first Nokia handset to get a full screen display with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The display measures 6 inches and throws Full HD+ resolution (1080p x 2160p) and guarantees great brightness levels and contrast.

Besides, it is also the first Nokia handset to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor (one of the newest mid-range processors from Qualcomm). The RAM is 4 GB along with 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable. Furthermore, there’s a dual camera setup at the back with a pair of 12 MP lenses and an aperture of f1.75 for the primary lens and f2.6 for the secondary lens. The front unit is a 5 MP camera.

Nokia 7 Plus has been priced at EUR 350 and will be available from April.

NOKIA 8 SIROCCO PRICE, SPECS AND FEATURES

Nokia 8 Sirocco

The Nokia 8 Sirocco is the more premium version of the Nokia 8. Compared to the IPS LCD panel of the previous Nokia 8, the new one gets a slightly bigger 5.5-inch P-OLED display delivering a QHD resolution which should look much better. The processor is same at Snapdragon 835 while there is now 6 GB of RAM onboard and it should make for a pretty smooth performance.

There is glass at the back making the handset capable for wireless charging. Also, the Nokia 8 Sirocco now gets improved IP67 certification (compared to IP54 of the old unit). Lastly, the dual camera setup at the back is the same as Nokia 7 Plus.

The phone will be available at a price of EUR 749 from April.

NOKIA 8110 4G (Banana phone) PRICE, SPECS AND FEATURES

Nokia 8110 4G (Banana phone)

If there’s one phone brand that people can feel nostalgic about, it is Nokia. There can be no doubts about that. And HMD Global is aware of this, and hence, the company resurrected Nokia 3310 previously (which received mixed responses) and now, the company has brought back its popular slider phone, the Nokia 8110.

The said phone has revived as the Nokia 8110 4G which indicates it is 4G capable, clearly! Also lovingly known as the Banana phone (because of its curved body and the bright yellow colour), the new 8110 has built-in support for Facebook and Twitter so it does have some pretty solid usage features.

The phone runs the KaiOS and other than its basic social media capabilities, it also gets Google Assistant, Maps and search. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 205 processor which should be enough for it to function quite flawlessly and gets a 2.4-inch curved display (QVGA resolution). The battery is 1,500mAh and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack onboard.

Nokia 8110 4G will be available from May and priced at EUR 80.
