Samsung has officially announced its first ever triple rear camera-equipped smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). The handset will initially be launched in select Asian and European markets. The company will launch this handset on an event scheduled for October 11 this year. It will cost around ₹30,000.

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is built around a 6 inches Super AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels of resolution. It is powered by an octa-core processor running at 2.2GHz of clocked processing speed. As of now, the name of the chipset is unknown.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) will come in three memory configurations – 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. It runs on Android 8.0-based Samsung Experience UI and comes with 3,300 mAh battery. Interestingly, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the right edge of the phone.
Talking about the highlights, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is Samsung’s very first smartphone to come with triple rear camera setup. It has 24MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 5MP depth sensor and an ultra-wide 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 120-degrees viewing angle. The company has also placed a 24MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calling.
