For people who enjoy spending time in checking out social media and expect their phones to recognize and be able to connect to wi-fi, a feature phone doesn’t sound like something worth investing in. At the same time, there are people who still enjoy the more simple joys of life and mostly like to use their phones to make calls and send SMSs. For them, a feature phone is perhaps a great device to stay connected with people while still disconnected with the digital world. Or better yet, a feature phone can be a fantastic secondary phone.

Cat B35 design

On that note, Cat has announced a rugged feature phone, called B35, which gets MIL-810G compliance to make it highly resistant to extreme heat, humidity, cold, salt mist and vibration. Along with this, the B35 is also IP 68 compliant for the industry-best protection against water and dust.
