Though BlackBerry-branded smartphones aren’t doing well in the market, the company hasn’t given up yet. Today, expanding the range of its offerings, the company launched a new handset – the BlackBerry Key2 LE. And for the first time, the company has given this handset a decent price tag.
BlackBerry Key2 LE Price and Availability
The BlackBerry Key2 LE is priced at ₹29,990 and is officially said to be exclusively available through Amazon India. It will be available starting from the 12th of October.
BlackBerry Key2 LE Specifications and Features
Continuing its legacy, the BlackBerry Key2 LE comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard. It features a 4.5 inches touchscreen display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, 434ppi of pixel density, 3:2 aspect ratio and 1620×1080 pixels of resolution.
Powering the BlackBerry Key2 LE is Qualcomm’s mid-tier Snapdragon 636 SoC which packs an octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz of clocked processing speed. Other internals of the handset includes Adreno 509 graphics processing unit, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM which can be expanded using MicroSD up to 256GB.
Talking about the imaging department, the BlackBerry Key2 LE features a dual rear camera setup comprised of 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) and 5MP (f/2.4 aperture) sensors. It also features an 8 megapixels fixed-focus front-facing camera. The camera setup comes with several features including real-time bokeh mode, Google Lens camera integration, selfie enhancements, and panoramic selfie mode.
The BlackBerry Key2 LE runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, dual-band 2.5GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and 4G with VoLTE in connectivity options. Further, it is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0.
