As we snail towards September, the month when the iPhone 8 actually becomes a reality for the rest of the world outside Apple, another leak or a rumor has come out about the said device.

This time, though, the information is not about technology or features, but about the colors the handset is going to be available in. As per the images, it appears that the iPhone 8 will come in three colors – Black, White and Gold.

The famous Rose Gold, it seems, is going to be replaced by Gold (with a hint of Copper perhaps)

On the outset, nothing seems to be different or unique about the colors except that the Gold is not the ‘Rose Gold’ that Apple has marketed so well for all these years. The company, in essence, introduced the Rose Gold color in the smartphone world and set a trend leading many phone makers to adopt the same. Now, the Gold color in question here visibly has a look of the Copper to it. Such is the shade, at least in pictures. But we can clearly say that it is not the typical shade of Gold that we usually perceive it with.

Besides this, another information that we have got is that the iPhone 8 will be made available in September itself (when it is launched) along with the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus. This comes from the KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who earlier predicted differently that the next flagship from Apple will take a month or two to come in to the market.

No fingerprint sensor at the back if we are to believe this image

However, it is believed that the iPhone 8 will start selling in limited numbers in September due to the shortage in production, but this will eventually change for better later on. Also, a latest picture doesn’t show a fingerprint sensor at the back, and it is unclear if it will be integrated in to the power button on the side. Even now with all the possible locations, it continues to be a mystery where Apple will eventually put the biometric authentication system, or if it will be there at all.

Keep watching this space as we bring more updates on this.
